The "Awara Yukake Festival" is a strange festival held every year after the "spring" and "excitement" of hot springs. On the first day, at the roundabout of Awara Yunomachi Station, hot water is poured on the mikoshi and people at the venue also pour hot water on each other. On the second day, there will be a large Bon Odori festival called "Folk Dance Evening" in which local folk dances are danced, and a Fukui custom of "Manju Maki".

In this year's "Yukake Jae!", 45 liters of hot water will be used from the sources of 14 inns in Awara Onsen. This is equivalent to 22,500 two-liter plastic bottles.

Parody posters of people and subjects that reflect the state of the world are also popular every year, and this year's unique design is a cross between the package design of a popular game and the "Dragon King Battle" held at Awara Onsen in October.

Awara Onsen is located in the countryside and has 74 hot springs, and you can enjoy the different quality and efficacy of each inn. Yasushi Yagi, the chairman of the executive committee, said, "This is a festival where locals and tourists alike can enjoy it together. and comments. In addition, "I will be soaked all over my body, but I don't mind because everyone is soaked."

Located in the northernmost part of Fukui Prefecture, Awara Onsen opened the Hokuriku Shinkansen "Ashihara Onsen Station" on March 16 this year.
