Atami Izuyama Hotel Suikatei reopened on September 16|Since closing due to the mudslide disaster in July

The "Oedo Onsen Monogatari Atami Izuyama Hotel Suikatei", which was closed due to the damage caused by the landslide in the Izuyama area of Atami City in July this year, announced that it will resume business from September 16, 2021 (Thursday).

The hotel was closed for restoration work after the hot spring pipes were damaged by the debris flow disaster in the Atami Izuyama area on July 3. This time, it was decided to resume plumbing work with a prospect.

The hotel features four large public baths with a sense of openness and an open-air bath overlooking the sea. New rooms with ocean views and a 20-metre live kitchen serving freshly prepared food.

 

The hotel said, "Once again, we would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by this disaster. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Self-Defense Forces, police, and firefighters who worked diligently on rescue and relief activities immediately after the disaster, as well as to the local governments and local residents who made efforts and supported us in resuming operations.
