The Okuaizu area is an area where the ingenuity and wisdom of life unique to heavy snowfall areas have been passed down from generation to generation. At the Sedo Forest Festival, local residents serve as guides and provide traditional craft experiences such as handmade "Kasha Neko" and "Shimenawa", as well as nature experiences such as "Kirigen Gorge Passing" and "Kanjiki Walking". Applications for each program will be accepted on the official website and by phone from Monday, September 24.

The Okuaizu region is located in the southwest of Fukushima Prefecture and is made up of seven towns and villages: Yanazu Town, Mishima Town, Kanayama Town, Showa Village, Tadami Town, Minami-Aizu Town, and Hinoeki Village. The organizers say, "We want you to experience the deep charm of Okuaizu, which you can't experience with ordinary sightseeing, and experience the authentic culture rooted in local life."
