Shimane Prefecture Izumo's Divine Moon|Regular performance of "Izumo Kagura" in the sacred precincts|Limited to 5 days
The Izumo Tourism Association in Shimane Prefecture will hold regular performances of the local performing art "Izumo Kagura" at the Nichigobi Shrine, a constituent cultural property of Japan Heritage, for five days only on Saturdays during the month of Shinzai from late September to November, when eight million gods from all over the country are said to gather.

"Izumo Kagura" is performed by an activity group that inherits Kagura called Shachu. Regular performances are limited to 5 days. Each time, a different company will perform "Izumo Kagura". The venue, the Nichi-Gobi Shrine, enshrines Amaterasu Omikami and Susanoo no Mikoto. The stage of the performance is the precincts of a shrine that is usually inaccessible.
The performance dates are 9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/6, and 11/27. The capacity is 25 people each time. The admission fee is 2,500 yen for adults, 1,500 yen for elementary school students and younger, 5,000 yen for adults and 3,500 yen for elementary school students and younger with dinner.
