Higashi-Izu Ito's "Onshu mandarin orange picking" season enters - all-you-can-eat for 600 yen

In Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture, "Onshu mandarin orange picking" is being held at 10 farms in the city until the end of January 2025. In addition, from February, the "Amatsu mandarin orange picking" season begins.

Ito City is characterized by a warm climate, temperature differences, and long sunshine hours, which condenses the sweetness of mandarin oranges. Every year from October to January, sweet and juicy Wenshu tangerines are harvested, and from February to June, sweet summer tangerines.

 

The entrance fee (all-you-can-eat) is very reasonable, 600 yen for adults, 500 yen for 3 years old ~ elementary school students. 1,100 yen with souvenirs. There are 10 farms where you can enjoy Wenshu mandarin orange picking in three areas of the city.

  • "Usami District" ... Sugimoto Garden, Taizan Garden, Hama Jingen Garden, Fukuyuen Garden, Takataya Garden, Kikuma Garden, Suzuki Garden, Fukuseien Garden
  • "Yoshida District" ... Asakura Mikan Garden
  • "Jogasaki District" ... Orange Village

Details of each farm are introduced on the official Ito City tourism website. In addition, after Wenshu mandarin orange picking, "Amatsu mandarin orange picking" will be held from February 1st ~ the last day of June.
