The resort hotel "Kyukamura Nasu" in Nikko National Park has started a mountaineering goods rental service at the mountaineering goods rental shop "Morinone" in the facility, where beginners can enjoy the trekking experience even if they come empty-handed, to coincide with the autumn leaves seeds of Nasu.

Goods include trekking shoes (2,000 yen for adults/children), spats (500 yen for adults/children), backpacks (1,000 yen for adults/half price for children), upper and lower clothing (2,000 yen for adults/half price for children), and poles (1,000 yen for adults/children). 5 types of beginner set (6,500 yen for adults / 4,500 yen for children). In addition, cold protection down (2,000 yen for adults / 1,000 yen for children), gloves (500 yen), etc. Children are recommended for elementary school students, but if they are adult size, they are priced as adults. It can be used not only by hotel guests, but also by day trippers. Reservations must be made by 7 p.m. the day before.

The best time to see the autumn leaves in Nasu is from early to mid-October. We recommend the Benten Suspension Bridge at an altitude of 1,200 meters and the Nasu Ropeway overlooking the autumn leaves from the air (Kyukamura)
