JR East Japan Announces "JR SKISKI" Campaign for This Winter - Natsuki Deguchi and Yu Aoki's W Cast

JR East Japan will launch its annual winter campaign "JR SKISKI 2024-2025" on Thursday, December 19, 2024. This year, the show will feature a double cast of young actors Natsuki Deguchi (23) and Yu Aoki (23). The "JR SKISKI" campaign was launched in 1991 to promote ski trips that have become a popular winter tradition.

This winter's catchphrase is "White and Heat," and we created a poster visual that makes use of the personalities of Mr. Deguchi and Mr. Aoki, who were appointed as W cast. "White" expresses the special world of snowy mountains, and "heat" expresses the rising body temperature and emotions, and the charm of skiing is conveyed with a new world view that fuses these two images.

Mr. Deguchi's poster expresses the joy and excitement of experiencing the slopes for the first time with "white" and "heat". Aoki's poster, on the other hand, depicts the elation of a snowy mountain with the dynamic movement of snow soaring.

Filming episode

There is also a scene where Mr. Deguchi enters the studio with the image of a snowy mountain and cheers, "It's snowing!" In the fantastic scene in the falling snow, the dignified profile and sigh were brilliantly burned into the film while maintaining a sense of tension.

Mr. Aoki created a sense of realism by shooting with movement, such as throwing snow on each other. The natural smile on the slopes and the moment of snow splashing are beautifully captured.

In addition to posters and websites, "JR SKISKI" is also scheduled to be commercialized in January next year using a tie-up song with Pablo Hike. In addition, the official website introduces ski resort information and travel plans.
