Lake Towada, Aomori Prefecture|Festival of Lights "Kami no Sumu Mountain Towadako Festa Luce 2021-2022" will be held in autumn and winter
The Lake Towada Winter Story Executive Committee will hold the illumination event "Kami no Sumu Yama Towadako Festa Luce 2021-2022" at Towadako Shrine from October 21st ~ November 23rd in autumn and December 4 ~ February 21 in winter.
The concept of the event is "The Legend of Lake Towada". The story of a rough lake becoming peaceful and serene and people coming to pray is staged with light and music. The theme of autumn is the story of autumn leaves of light, and winter is the winter story of light.
Towada Shrine is known for its solemn architecture and power spots. In autumn, the approach to the shrine is lit up. Animal illumination in winter. On winter Saturdays and Sundays (except 1/1 and 2), a winter fireworks show is held.
The event will be held from 17:30 ~ 21:00 in autumn and winter, and until 21:30 on the winter fireworks day. Closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays (open on 12/29 and 30). Admission is 1,200 yen in advance for adults, 1,600 yen at the door, and free for elementary school students and younger. Advance sales are at Lawson Ticket and Pass Market.
