All 59 episodes of the travelogue program "Japan Heritage" will be released on YouTube for a limited time - special distribution on February 13 "Japan Heritage Day"
To coincide with "Japan Heritage Day" on February 13, all 59 episodes of the travelogue program "Japan Heritage" broadcast on BS-TBS will be specially released on the program's official YouTube channel for 4 days from February 13 (Thu) ~ 16 (Sun), 2025.
"Japan Heritage" is a system recognized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and is positioned as a collection of cultural properties based on stories that tell the historical charm and characteristics of the region. As a story that includes the traditions, customs, and lives of the people rooted in the area, 104 stories nationwide are currently recognized as Japan Heritage sites. Local governments in certified areas are promoting tourist destinations related to Japan Heritage.
Program "Japan Heritage" aired intermittently on BS-TBS from 2016 to 2021. Narrated by actors Masao Kusakari and Reiko Takashima, the film delves into spots across Japan that have been certified as Japan Heritage sites. From February 13 to 16, 2025, a series of 59 episodes will be released. Special Distribution and high-quality images convey the charm of heritage.
This special YouTube distribution of the program "Japan Heritage" is a commemorative project held by TBS Sparkle, an official partner of Japan Heritage and in charge of program production, to coincide with "Japan Heritage Day".
