The long-awaited opening of "Roadside Station Shonan Chigasaki", which was postponed due to the Corona disaster, will open on July 7, 2025

In Chigasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, a new tourism and exchange base "Roadside Station Shonan Chigasaki" will open on Monday, July 7, 2025. The facility will be operated by Farmers Forest, the city's designated manager.

At the roadside station, the original brand "Choice! CHIGASAKI". By certifying the products and services of businesses in the city and selling them at roadside stations, we will convey the charm of the area.

In the facility, there is a direct sales shop with fresh local vegetables and specialties, and a food court where you can enjoy gourmet food unique to Shonan. In addition, it will be equipped with a children's space, a dog run, and an outdoor plaza, making it a complex facility that can accommodate families and visitors with pets.

The parking lot can accommodate 160 small cars and 28 large vehicles, and can also accept sightseeing buses. The location is along National Route 134, just off the Shin-Shonan Bypass "Chigasaki Kaigan IC".

Prior to the opening, we plan to provide a "tour app" that allows you to enjoy the Shonan area on your smartphone. We will prepare a mechanism to visit local sightseeing spots and propose an experience of Chigasaki.

The roadside station was originally scheduled to open in March 2022, but it was postponed due to the influence of the new coronavirus, and it will open after about three years.
