The charm of the Izu Islands and the Ogasawara Islands is condensed into Takeshiba - 2 days of island gourmet, traditional performing arts, and cultural experiences
Shimajiman 2025, an event that introduces the charms of Tokyo's islands, the Izu Islands and the Ogasawara Islands, will be held for two days on May 24 (Sat) and 25 (Sun), 2025, at two venues: Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal and Tokyo Port City Takeshiba (Minato-ku, Tokyo). Admission is free.

There will be 11 islands to be exhibited, including the Izu Islands (Oshima, Toshima, Niijima, Shikinejima, Kozushima, Miyakejima, Mikurajima, Hachijojima, and Aogashima) and the Ogasawara Islands (Chichijima and Hahajima).
At the Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal venue, there will be a gourmet conner with island sushi, fish burgers, sweets, etc., and a stage with more than 20 performances on both days, including traditional performing arts, taiko drum performances, and hula dancing.
At the Tokyo Port City Takeshiba venue, you can experience the culture and climate of each island by selling special products of each island and experiencing crafts. The two venues can be moved in about 3 minutes on foot.
The event will be held from 10:00~18:00 (ends at 17:00 on the 25th).
