Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture|"Satoumi Satoyama Weeks 2021" held|Program to meet the craftsmen of the town, etc.

The Satokai Satoyama Weeks Executive Committee of Minamisanriku Winery in Miyagi Prefecture will hold a tourism event "Satokairiyama Weeks 2021" with the theme of the blessings of Satoumiyama in Minamisanriku from October 23 (Sat) ~ November 7 (Sun).

The theme of the event is "Let's go meet the masters of Satokairiyama!" You will visit more than 20 artisans involved in wineries, seafood farming, forestry, etc. in the four districts of Minamisanriku Town and enjoy tours and experiences.

 

Participants first purchase a participant badge made of Minamisanriku cedar (500 yen in advance, 800 yen at the door). You can pick up the badge at the information desk of Minamisanriku-san Shopping Street. After obtaining the badge, you will apply for the program offered by Takumi (additional fee).

 

In addition, two lectures are planned. 10/22 (Fri) 18:00~20:00 "The idea of fan-based activities to further revitalize Minamisanriku (Mr. Naoyuki Sato, Communications Director)" 11/6 (Sat) 10 a.m. ~ 6 p.m., key people from the local industry will take the stage at the "Satoumi Conference 2021 in Minamisanriku". Each event is free of charge and has a capacity of 80 people. It will also be distributed online. After the conference, a paid social gathering will be planned. In addition, on Sunday, November 7, a hands-on tour (charged) to visit the site of oyster farming is planned.
