Fuji Kisen on Lake Yamanaka|12/13-14 Geminid Meteor Shower Maximum Day|Sunset Cruise and Starry Sky Terrace
On Monday, December 13 and Tuesday, December 14, Fuji Kisen in Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture will hold a "Lake Yamanaka Sunset Cruise" to enjoy the sunset and a "Lake Yamanaka Starry Sky Terrace" to enjoy stargazing when the Geminid meteor shower is at its maximum, and will open a "Bonfire Cafe" on the beach.

On the Lake Yamanaka Sunset Cruise, you can take a boat on the sightseeing boat "Swan Lake" and enjoy the lake at the time when the sun sets over Mt. Fuji. Operating hours are 15:00~16:30. The boarding fee is 1,000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children. Binoculars rental and bonfire café drink voucher included. To participate, purchase a ticket at the "Asahioka Pier" ticket office at least 10 minutes before departure.
At Lake Yamanaka Starry Sky Terrace, you can enjoy observing the starry sky from a hammock set up on the pier of a sightseeing boat. The event will be held from 17:00~20:00 and will last about 20 minutes per group. First, listen to the starry sky guide's commentary at the boathouse, then move to the starry sky terrace. The participation fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for children. Binoculars rental and one drink voucher for the bonfire café are included. Participation is accepted at the Swan Boathouse at the Rising Sun Hill Pier.
On the beach near the starry sky terrace, a "bonfire café" is opened (16:00~20:00). Coffee, swans, cocoa and mulled wine can be purchased at the boathouse before relaxing at the café.
