Niigata Prefecture's Snow Country Tourism Area will introduce the "JTB MasS API Gateway," a MaaS app developed by a JTB Group company, for secondary transportation (buses and taxis) for travelers, and will conduct a demonstration experiment from today to Sunday, February 13 next year.
The subjects of the experiment are "Minamiuonuma City", "Yuzawa Town", and "Tokamachi City". During the heavy snowfall season, this area has challenges with private cars and rental cars, as well as secondary transportation. Through experiments, we encourage travelers to use secondary transportation, and propose experience-based tourism "The Ultimate Snow Country Story ~A trip to enjoy superb scenery, medicinal baths, and Niigata sake~".
The target is route buses and taxis
The buses are "Uonuma Yukisato Liner" (6 stops between "Echigo Yuzawa Station" ~ "Urasa Station") and "Snow Mountain Gosetsu Liner" (4 stops between "Echigo Yuzawa Station" ~ "Matsudai Station"). The "Snow Mountain Heavy Snow Liner" operates on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. "Uonuma Yukisato Liner" will be suspended during the year-end and New Year holidays (12/31 and 1/1). The "Snow Mountain Heavy Snow Liner" runs daily from 12/28~1/4.
The price is the same for adults and children, the Uonuma Yukisato Liner (500 yen) and the Yukisato Yukisato Liner (1,000 yen). Matsunoyama Onsen ~ Matsudai Station is half price.
Taxis are "Matsudai Matsunoyama Sightseeing Taxi" that runs from "Matsudai Station" to designated points in the "Matsunoyama area" (1 sun 4 convenience ) and "The same TO Shared taxis".
