"Millennium Night Market" inspired by Asian night markets will be held in Takeo, Saga Prefecture |5 days from 12/24 to New Year's Eve

In Takeo City, Saga Prefecture, "Takeo Millennium Night Market ~ X'mas to Countdown ~ 2022" will be held for 5 days from December 24 ~ 26 and 30 ~ 31 at Central Park & Machinaka Square. The event was organized by the executive committee of local support companies, etc., with the cooperation of the city and business organizations.

The venue consists of skateboarding, food and beverage goods, fairs, and an event stage under the lantern night view. There are about 30 stores each day. Restaurants include Japan sake bars, banh mi, pho, salt takoyaki, Itoshima burgers and B-grade gourmets. Miscellaneous goods include small leather goods and handmade accessories. It is a fairhouse for children, such as goldfish scooping and target guessing. The event will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. each day. Only on 12/31 until after 0:00 the next day.

The night market is aimed at recovering from the torrential rain disaster and the Corona disaster, and aims to raise the excitement for the opening of the Shinkansen "Takeo Onsen Station". It was inspired by the night market experience that the executive committee members visited on a trip to Asia. After returning to Japan, he launched the "Hakata Millennium Night Market" based on the concept of the intersection of travel and locality, and held it in Takeo last fall.
