Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture|Providing "Katsu Fish Katsu" to support challengers|Campaign to win bonito products
The Suruga Planning and Tourism Bureau, a tourism-related organization in the Chubu area of Shizuoka Prefecture, has launched a prayer campaign "Katsuo Katsu" until Sunday, March 13, 2022, to support people who are taking on challenges such as exams and job hunting with Yaizu bonito dishes, which have the largest amount of fish landed in Japan.
Fifteen restaurants in the region (14 in Yaizu City and 1 in Shizuoka City) participated in the campaign. With the meaning of "fried (rising without falling), katsu (winning)" in the bonito, which is a lucky charm, each restaurant offers a "katsu katsu" menu.
If you eat "Katsuyu Katsu" and apply, you can win bonito-related products, and we will also hold a "stamp rally" and an "Instagram" campaign.
In the stamp rally, if you eat "Katsu Fish Katsu" at two or more stores and collect stamps (2 pieces) and apply, you will win 10 A prizes (assorted bonito products) and 20 B prizes (bonito kombu + bonito soboro).
On Instagram, I posted a photo of "Katsu Fish Katsu" with "#勝魚かつ" and "#合格祈願" and applied. 30 winners will be selected by lottery to win two types of Sealac bonito flakes chips.
