Odakyu Electric Railway|Lowering the child ride fee from 3/12|IC fare, school commuter pass, sightseeing free pass

Odakyu Electric Railway fare revision

Odakyu Electric Railway announced yesterday that it will reduce the current fares for special tickets such as IC fares for children, commuter passes, and Hakone free passes from Saturday, March 12, when the timetable will be revised. This announcement is an update of the announcement in November last year that the child IC fare will be 50 yen for all sectors.

The IC card for children is 50 yen for all sectors, from 445 yen for the highest section and 63 yen for the lowest section. The commuter pass ranges from 3,820 yen for the maximum section and 820 yen for the cheapest section to 800 yen for all sections. Further discounts for 3 months and 6 months.

Tickets (from Shinjuku) are 1,500 yen to 1,100 yen for the Hakone Free Pass (2 days) and 1,750 yen to 1,350 yen for 3 days. The Tanzawa-Oyama Free Pass (A ticket) is 1,270 yen to 970 yen, and the B ticket is 790 yen to 400 yen. The Enoshima-Kamakura Free Pass is from 770 yen to 430 yen.

The Enoshima-Kamakura Free Pass will be reviewed on the same day, and after 3/11, the child fare will be higher than the current one between Shonandai Station ~ Katase Enoshima Station.

On 2/10~3/25, the first 10,000 people to purchase a pediatric Pasmo at each Odakyu station and answer the questionnaire will receive an IC card case.

If you have a pediatric Pasmo or a children's watermelon, you cannot purchase a new Pediatric Pasmo.

The fare revision is an effort to realize an environment along the railway line that is easy for Odakyu Electric Railway to raise children.
This is the first time in Japan that the IC fare for children has been continuously reduced to less than half the price of the adult fare.
