Nagai Kaite Park in Yokosuka|100,000 rape flowers are in full bloom "Rape Flower Festival" is being held
At Nagai Kaite Park Soleil Hill in Yokosuka on the Miura Peninsula, the "Rape Flower Festival" is held until March 21 (Monday/holiday), when rape flowers are in full bloom. During the exhibition, we will offer a rape flower experience program.
On March 20 (Sun) and 21 (Mon) 14:30 ~ 15:30, a "rape flower picking experience" will be held that you can participate in for free. You can take home up to 10 rape flowers that you picked yourself. What to bring is a bag of flowers and scissors. Scissors are available for rent, but the number is limited, so it is recommended to bring your own scissors.
In addition, the restaurant offers a limited menu "Rape Flower Peperoncino (1,000 yen)". Hands-on programs such as "Making melon bread with rape flowers and cherry blossoms" (1,200 yen) and "Making a herbarium of rape flowers (1,600 yen)" are being held. You can also give away plant seeds at the stamp rally.
The park is a comprehensive agricultural and sea experience park that is equivalent to 5.2 times the size of Tokyo Dome. You can enjoy vegetable harvesting, bread and crafts, interacting with animals, and playing.
The park advertises that "the view of snow-covered Mt. Fuji and a walk through the blooming rape fields are special experiences only at this time of year."
