Edo Castle Town Sakura|Kimono Sakura Jidai Festival|Cherry Blossom Event Held at the Same Time
Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, a town of Edo Castle, will hold the 22nd Sakura Jidai Festival Japan Heritage "Kitaso Four Cities Edo Travelogue" for two days on March 19 (Sat) and 20 (Sun) at Shinmachi-dori Street and Sakura Castle Park in the city.
The festival is a participatory event where people wearing kimonos gather to enjoy the event and create the Edo castle town of Sakura. 3/19 is a kimono contest, Yosakoi Soran. The event will be held from 10:00~16:00 on both days. Local access is a 10-minute walk from the Keisei Sakura Station South Exit, which is about 1 hour from the city center, or a 20-minute walk from the JR Sakura Station North Exit. There is a free bus service from each station. No private parking.
