Iwate Prefecture Sanriku Railway|Contest Winning Works "Children's Iron Stamp" Sales|IRG Iwate Galaxy Railway is also planned
On Saturday, March 19, the Sanriku Railway in Iwate Prefecture will release four prize-winning works in the Sanriku Railway category of the "Children's Iron Seal Contest" for elementary and junior high school students as "Children's Iron Seals". It is sold at the Sanriku Railway "Miyako Station" window.

The iron seal is the railway version of the red seal. It is currently a tool for railway travel proposed by regional railway companies.
「 Iron Seal Contest Sponsored by the Third Sector Railway Council and the Yomiuri Group, we solicited designs based on the motifs of eight local railway companies from elementary and junior high school students nationwide. Sanriku Railway received 36 entries, and the winners of the two categories for elementary school students (lower and upper grades), the grand prize for junior high school students, and the Sanriku Railway President's Award will be selected, and the winning works will be released as "Children's Iron Seals."
The selling price is 300 yen per piece (limited to 300 pieces of each). After purchasing some kind of Sanriku Railway ticket, one person can purchase up to one ticket of each of the four types.

In Iwate Prefecture, IRG Iwate Galaxy Railway (Morioka City) also solicited submissions.
Out of 55 entries, the grand prize winners were Ms. Yukiteru Tanooka (8), a second-year student at Ichinohe Elementary School in Ichinohe Town, Ms. Teru Kakukage (12), a sixth-year student at Ippongi Elementary School in Takizawa City, and Ms. Miyu Fujisawa (14), a second-year student at Minami Junior High School in Morioka City. IGR Iwate Railway also plans to sell its award-winning "Children's Iron Seal" from April onwards.
Iron Seal Contest After the winners were selected by eight railway companies, the national grand prix was announced in each category. Two winners from Iwate Prefecture won the Grand Prix: Mr. Tanooka, who won the prize in the lower grade category of the IRG Iwate Galaxy Railway, and Mr. Sasaki, who won the prize in the junior high school category of the Sanriku Railway.
