Sakae Village, Kijimadaira Village, Nagano Prefecture, and the Tourism Association will hold a tour "Trip to the Hidden Akiyama-go Kaya no Hira Plateau" until Sunday, November 6, to experience the area where the spirit of Matagi and mountain village culture remain. The tour starts and ends at Iiyama Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen and travels by microbus. You will enter unexplored areas such as the primeval beech forest that spreads out in Akiyama-go, an unexplored area at an altitude of 1,400 meters at the foot of Mt. Naeba, and the Kaya no Hira Plateau.
The theme of the experience is "Bamboo Shoot Picking (6/19)", "Zoigawa Valley Trekking (8/13)", "Matagi Experience and Game Cuisine" (11/5-6). There are day trips and 2 days and 1 night, and a total of 10 tours are conducted from June to November.
