From July 2nd (Sat) ~ 4th (Mon), Sakura Star Travel in Osaka will hold an "Okinawa Resort Stay where people with disabilities and intractable diseases will participate in the sea experience and Okinawan folk songs in a wheelchair". There were three participants.

Sakura Star Travel is a travel agency that provides custom-made travel that coordinates and negotiates with travel destinations in consideration of the symptoms and wishes of the person concerned so that people who are hesitant to go out due to illness or disability can go on a trip.
On the first day of this trip, the participants departed from three airports in Japan. After entering Naha at noon, we boarded a welfare vehicle, played in the sea, and went to sunset time. On the second day, Churaumi Aquarium, remote island sightseeing, and Sanshin live viewing. On the third day, after a walk around Shuri Castle, we headed home. The first day of accommodation is at Hotel Nikko Aviera (Yomitan) and the second day is The Beach Tower Okinawa (Chatan).
During your stay, you can swim in a chew boat and an electric wheelchair at the aquarium. It was designed to reduce the burden on participants, such as inviting Sanshin live performers to the hotel.
Sakurai Star Travel has won the Travel Award sponsored by the Japan Association of Travel Agents and other organizations for the second consecutive year. Sakurai, who himself suffers from an intractable disease and uses a wheelchair, said, "There are many people whose illnesses have progressed while the coronavirus pandemic and the loss of travel opportunities," and "I want to do everything I can to realize the well-being of those affected in the future."
