Publication of a guidebook of Kumagaya's local shaved ice "Snow Bear" in the land of extreme heat|Stamp rally and Instagram campaign

The Tourism Association of Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture has published a guidebook "Kumagaya Snow Bear Guide" that introduces stores that offer local shaved ice "Snow Bear".

「 Snow Bear In 2006, Kumagaya City and restaurants organized the Snow Bear Goodwill Association and started selling it to help people stay cool in the scorching heat. When a restaurant offers a new "Snow Bear", it is screened by the Snow Bear Goodwill Association, and the quality has been maintained as a local shaved ice for many years.

The "Kumagaya Snow Bear Guide" introduces a total of 27 stores that offer "Snow Bear", one store per page in A5 size. A total of 10,000 copies are distributed at public facilities and accommodation facilities in the city, snow bear stores, tourism associations, etc.

At the same time, the Snow Bear Goodwill Association will hold a stamp rally and an Instagram campaign to visit stores that offer "Snow Bear" until the end of August.

The Kumagaya City Tourism Association says, "If you come to Kumagaya in the hot summer, especially in the hot weather, we want you to enjoy eating and walking around with a guidebook in hand."
