Lake Nojiri Terrace at an altitude of 1,100m in Madarao, Nagano Prefecture open|Sightseeing lift operation from 7/16

Tokyu Kogen Resort Hotel Tangram (Madarao, Nagano Prefecture) will operate a sightseeing lift to and from Lake Nojiri Terrace in the highland area of the ski resort in winter from July 16 (Sat) ~ August 28 (Sun).

The sightseeing lift (capacity 4 people) takes 10 minutes each way to climb to Lake Nojiri Terrace at an altitude of 1,100 meters. From the Lake Nojiri Terrace, you can look down on Lake Nojiri, a natural lake, and the mountains surrounding the lake, and from late July to early August, the lily flowers are in full bloom around the terrace. The terrace can accommodate up to medium-sized dogs.

 

The round-trip fare is 1,200 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for elementary school students and younger. The one-way fare is the same. Pets are allowed for 500 yen (free cage available).

 

The sightseeing lift is open from 9:00~16:00.

 

"Tangram Hotel" is a highland resort located at the foot of Mt. Madarao in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture. All rooms are equipped with 40 square meters of rooms, 8 pet-friendly rooms, various rooms such as a bicycle room, an open-air bath and a sauna. There is also a children's park, a fishing pond, and outdoor leisure such as super bobsleigh.

 

Local access is about 20 minutes from the Joshinetsu Expressway "Shinanomachi IC". It takes about 25 minutes by bus from Shinano Railway "Hime Station" via JR Nagano Station.
