Japan Tourism Agency|Announcement of postponement of "National Travel Support" and extension of the "Prefectural Discount Support" period for the time being

On Thursday, July 14, the Japan Tourism Agency announced the postponement of the introduction of the "National Travel Support" announced in mid-June, and the extension of the "Prefectural Discount Support" that is currently in practice until August 31 (Wednesday).

As a result, " Prefectural Discount Support will be extended until Wednesday, August 31.

 

Prefectural discount support is provided by prefectures that have received support from the national government for regional blocks of "Hokkaido / Tohoku", "Kanto", "Hokuriku Shinetsu / Chubu", "", "Chugoku / Shikoku", and "Kyushu / Okinawa". This is the fourth announcement regarding the extension of the period of the prefectural discount (regional block type) since April this year.
