Shodoshima International Hotel in Kagawa Prefecture will hold "Shodoshima Maze Town Night Lantern Sanpo" at Tonosho Honmachi, the gateway to the island, from August 5 (Friday) ~ November 6 (Sunday). The project was co-organized with MeiPAM, which develops art projects on the island.
Tonosho Town has more than 60 three-way streets and is called the "town of mazes". At "Shodoshima Maze Town Night Lantern Sanpo", lanterns (4 colors in total) are rented free of charge to guests of Shodoshima International Hotel. With your favorite lantern in hand, you can go out into the maze at night and stop by restaurants and bars.
In addition, it is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Yokai Museum Admission tickets are sold at a discounted price (2,500 yen for adults and 1,250 yen for junior high and high school students). If you bring a lantern and enter the Yokai Museum, you will receive original goods.
Recently, a new "Yokai BAR" was established at the Yokai Museum. Unique drinks such as "Yokai Tag Cocktail" are offered. The museum is open from 9:00 to 22:00 (irregular holidays), and Yokai Ber. is open from 14:00 to 22:00.
