A new 305-meter aerial attraction "HAKODATEYAMA ZIP LINE" on Mt. Hakodate, which overlooks Lake Biwa

Hakodateyama Ski Resort will develop the Hakodateyama Zipline, the longest aerial attraction in the prefecture, from August 15 (Monday) ~ 28 (Saturday) and September 10 (Saturday) ~ November 23 (Wednesday, national holiday).

びわ湖の箱館山ジップライン営業開始

The Hakodateyama Zipline is located at the top of a 684-meter mountain overlooking Lake Biwa. An aerial attraction where you can attach a wire rope to your body and enjoy an inclined pulley. There are two types of courses, about 305m and 123m. Each course is lined up, so pairs can experience it at the same time. It takes about 60 minutes to register at the foot of the mountain, go up to the top of the mountain by gondola and experience two courses.

From Saturday, September 10, attractions such as "Alps Adventure" and "Snow Slide" where you can play sledding on artificial snow will be installed in the forest area. In addition, there is also an area with a huge trampoline and a giant swing that look great on Instagram.

The zipline experience fee is 2,000 yen (for both adults and children). To apply, go to the website. The local reception is a karamatsu hut at the foot of Mt. Hakodate. As a condition of participation, you must weigh 30 kg (up to 100 kg).

Reception hours 9:30~15:30.
