Many old ruins remain in Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture, distributing coupons worth 5,000 yen to guests of elementary school students and older
From Thursday, September 1, Sakurai City, Nara Prefecture will carry out the "Sakurai Stay and Enjoy Campaign Plus," which will distribute coupons worth 5,000 yen for each elementary school student or older staying at eligible accommodation facilities in the city. There are no restrictions on who can use the coupon inside or outside the city. The coupon is 5 pieces of 1,000 yen and can be used at participating restaurants and souvenir shops in the city. The expiration date is Tuesday, February 28 next year.
The voucher will be picked up at the time of check-in at the accommodation. Present your identity verification documents (driver's license, My Number Card, insurance card, etc.). Accommodation facilities are located in 4 areas of the city (Hatsuse, Miwa, Tabumine, Sakurai Station) and include inns, hotels, and guesthouses.


Located in central Nara Prefecture, Sakurai City was the site of an ancient state for about 400 years before the 33rd Emperor Oshiko moved the capital to Asuka. This is a land where many old ruins such as shrines, temples, ancient burial mounds, and Manyo Song monuments remain. On Saturday, November 26 and Sunday, November 27 this year, fans from all over the country will come to visit the burial mounds. The general application will be open from the beginning of September.
