"Ozekigahara Festival 2022" will be held in Gifu Prefecture for the first time in 3 years (10/8~10)|Sengoku Main Stage Gifu

Gifu Prefecture will hold the "Ozekigahara Festival 2022" on October 8 (Sat) ~ 10 (Mon) on the theme of the Battle of Sengoku and Sekigahara at Mt. Sasao and the Sekigahara Ancient Battlefield area in Sekigahara Town. This is the first event in three years.

The concept of the event is "Sengoku Main Stage Gifu". Gifu Prefecture was the center of the Sengoku period, as it was the place where Oda Nobunaga and Toyotomi Hideyoshi gathered, and Tokugawa Ieyasu ended the Sengoku period at the Battle of Sekigahara.

Actor and Ambassador of the Ancient Battlefield Memorial Museum, Keiko Takeshita, will read aloud and chant opera in the outdoor reading music picture scroll "Sekigahara Night 2022". Period drama actor Ken Matsudaira, director of the Old Battlefield Memorial Museum Owada, and Mr. Takeshita's "Sekigahara Talk". In October 2020, Gifu Prefecture opened the Gifu Sekigahara Ancient Battlefield Memorial Hall.
