Nanki-Shirahama 3 6-month-old hatchlings released at Adventure World (10/13~)
From Thursday, October 13, the theme park "Adventure World" in Shirahama Town, Wakayama Prefecture, will open to the public three cheetahs born in March this year. (*Mother on the left in the photo)

At Adventure World, three cheetahs were born on March 19 and three on March 28 this year. The release is 3 females and 2 males born on March 19th. Weight about 18 kg (as of 10/5). My father (6 years old) and mother (5 years old) both came to the park from South Africa in March last year. Currently, Adventure World has 16 cheetahs (9 males and 7 females). Children born on March 28 will live in the backyard for a while.
Cheetah parents and children are open to the public from 10:45~15:30. The visit is located in the cheetah area of the Safari World Carnivore Zone. You can see how parents and children spend time on the playground.
The park is open from 10:00~17:00. The nearest airport to the facility is Nanki-Shirahama Airport, which is 1 hour and 20 minutes from Haneda Airport (JAL). The facility is about 5 minutes by bus from the airport. In the off-season from October onwards, airline tickets are sold from about 10,000 yen one way.
