From October 20 (Thursday), Sado City, Niigata Prefecture will hold a "Thank You Coupon Campaign" that will provide a coupon worth 2,000 yen for travelers from outside the island when they stay at the target accommodation. (Photo: Autumn leaves at the Osado Skyline)
The coupon can be used in conjunction with the national travel support discount. The number of vinegars distributed is 10,000 and is also applicable to group travel products. One coupon will be distributed to each person at the time of check-in at the target accommodation. One for each person for consecutive nights. The coupon can be used to pay more than 2,000 yen for accommodation shops and food and drinks in addition to accommodation charges (no change).
Eligible accommodations will be available on Wednesday, October 19. Official Tourism Site (to be added sequentially).
According to the Sado Tourism Exchange Organization, "The best time to see the current autumn leaves is around 900 meters above sea level at the Osado Skyline, and the base to the middle of the mountain is usually from late October to early November. I want you to come to Sado with a coupon for an even better deal." I say.
