The star of the breakfast is white rice
I woke up at 6 a.m. It's still dark outside, and my muscles are sore, probably because I moved too much yesterday. As soon as I wake up, I pack my bags and have breakfast at 7 o'clock. Side dishes include dried sardines, simmered sardines, pickled vegetables, natto, and raw eggs. New white rice from Noto. Noto's shiny new rice, which I enjoy at every meal in Noto, looks and tastes the best. At lunch or dinner, the side dish may be the star of the show, but at breakfast, white rice is the star of the show. I refilled 3 cups in the morning.
Travel Planning
I'm going back to Tokyo today. On a three-day, two-night trip, it's easy to think you'll have plenty of time on the first day, but on the last day, you'll realize that you were wrong 。 And You'll start planning your next trip 。 This is the usual It can be said that it is a repetition of that.
Today around 4pm is scheduled to return to the airport. In the meantime, I plan to enjoy boat fishing in Kujuku Bay in front of me. Before 8 o'clock in the morning, reporter O is already just a few meters from Kujuku Bay, which is one of the 100 views of Japan. I am proud of myself for the way I plan my trip meticulously.
Kujuku Bay, which looks like a lake in the forest
The reason why I chose Noto as my travel destination in my travel report is the boat fishing video in Kujuku Bay on Youtube. It is the best setting to go out of the sea and fish in a beautiful scenery.
The superb view of Kujuku Bay is Shanti. It is not a shanti, but a Hindi word for peace of mind. Kujuku Bay is like a lake in the forest, and the sea surface is calm and boats can go easily. In the middle of the bay, there are people playing SUP and canoes.
Boat fishing in Kujuku Bay
Paddle the boat for about 10 minutes and start fishing in the middle of the bay. On Youtube, I was fishing for a root fish grouper with a lure. When you throw a lure, you feel the depth of the ocean. I heard that the maximum depth is 30m, but it feels more than double that. Throw a lure a few tens of meters ahead and try to take the bottom from it. Before the trip, all the lines wrapped around the Shimano bait reel that I bought for the first time in a long time seemed to come out. Modern reels are designed to send light weights flying forward, and the spool (the rotating part where the line is wound) is shallow.
It was the same with yesterday's offshore embankment, but this time the tackle is not very matched. Fishing is all about the experience of the point. Therefore, the boat is parked near the quay and the boat is aimed directly under the boat using a burakuri (a device with a needle in the body) and a blue isome. It is a steep climb and the water is deep along the quay, but it seems to be able to handle.
What was the first fish you caught?
From the first throw, you can hit it steadily. Anglers enjoy the bite before they feel the pull of the fish. However, you may be so happy with your work that the fish will disappear before you know it. You also need to have a knack for the timing of matching. This time, it hung well when combined. The rod is a rockfish rod that can be used on the shore and is hard, but it is a good pull.
What came up was a small red snapper (maybe). Even if it is small, the red snapper (maybe) is stately. As a result, we caught 2 red snapper, 2 striped bream, and 3 kingfish in about 2 hours. Yesterday I caught about 10 wrasse. I've had enough of it. Not only during travel, but also when I catch fish, I will release them immediately. This time, the fish returned to the sea while they were still healthy.

tourism
I suddenly realized. I've been fishing for the past three days. Today is the last day, and I feel like I have to go to the sightseeing spots. Stop fishing and enjoy the scenery on a cruise in the bay. If you look through binoculars and gaze at the scenery in a daze, you will be swept away by the boat and unintentionally. At the beginning, I explained the calm of the sea surface, but as it was close to noon, a light breeze appeared. Basically, the sea surface is calm, so even a slight breeze will wash the boat away.

It was past 12 o'clock. Visit the "Squid Station Mall" and return to shore to eat squid dishes at a restaurant. Shortly after 12:30 p.m., we arrived at the boat anchorage. First of all, the tackle, which has been exposed to the sea breeze and sea water for three days, is washed with fresh water, and the luggage that has been left at the inn is picked up and sorted out. I change into a T-sharu and work slowly in the garden between Kujuku Bay and the inn while drinking canned beer.
The landlady of Ichimizu came there. When asked about the catch, he will ask where the fish is. When I replied, "I've released them all," he laughed and said, "Well, it's a waste." One water also offers a service where guests can cook the fish they have caught. Releases will be unusual.
The daytime face of a giant squid
After sorting out our belongings and saying hello to the landlady, we head to the giant squid monument that fascinated us last night. Since it is Sunday, tourists are enjoying taking pictures of giant squid.
When I look back on last night, I want to ask the giant squid, "Are you the same as last night?" At night, he had a bad look, but during the day, he had a gentle look. People riding giant squids and looking into their mouths. Both children and adults are fascinated. This giant squid gained confidence and ability after experiencing that controversy. I feel that dependability.
Lunch and tour at the mall at Ica Station Tsukuru
After entering the facility, I first went to Restren. Numbered tickets were distributed at the entrance. I thought I might wait, but within 10 minutes, my turn came.
I ordered the "Seasoned Squid Bowl (1,100 yen)" recommended by the staff who brought the menu. The food was brought to us in about 5 minutes. It looks stylish and has good color. I imagine that it took a lot of trial and error to develop this menu. The impression and climate of the land that I felt at the beginning of the trip. Noto was characterized by cleanliness and politeness. First impressions will affect subsequent stays. If you have a good impression, your imagination will also be positive.
A squid bowl for which the word "delicious" is appropriate
Now, let's have a squid bowl. It has a smooth texture, and the sweet squid meat and sweet pickle intersect and are very delicious. The pitch of eating also quickens, and there is a rattling sound of poking at the heavy box with chopsticks.
For drinks, I ordered Weizen (605 yen), a craft beer from Noto. It is manufactured by the resort facility "Japan Sea Club" located a little beyond Kujuku Bay. The facility operates a microbrewery, a restaurant, and a ranch. It has a fruity and smooth mouthfeel and is very tasty. In recent years, Japan's local beer has been of high quality wherever you go.
Squid fishing in Ogi
I was very satisfied with the food. Now, let's take a look at the other exhibition corners. There is a corner that explains the history of squid fishing. Squid fishing in Ogi Port dates back to the Meiji era. A large number of ships, including the Kitamae boat, called at the port of Ogi, and the fishermen of Ogi collected the latest information from there. Based on the knowledge gained, squid fishing has developed dramatically in both the entire fishing industry. From the Taisho era to the Showa era, it became the base of the squid fishing fleet, which boasts one of the highest catches in Japan. Ogi Port is considered to be one of the "three major squid fishing ports in Japan" along with Hachinohe Port in Aomori Prefecture and Hakodate Port in Hokkaido.
Squid exhaustion
Next, we will move on to the product sales corner. The large space is lined with agricultural and fishery products, beverages, sweets, and miscellaneous goods. There is a wide variety of products manufactured by businesses in Noto. After all, marine products are conspicuous, and squid-related products are overwhelmingly common. I am amazed at the ability of squid to deploy.
Let's go outside the facility. There was a snack corner on the wall. The menu is full of squid, such as squid burger, grilled squid, squid fritters, and squid squid soft 。 oh In the early afternoon It was sold out one after another, Barely squid I got a fritter (400 yen). Let's try it. It has a strong squid flavor and is as delicious as expected.
Parking is available nearby. It is large enough to park many large sightseeing buses. The license plate number of the parked private car is 80% Ishikawa. Also, it was the number of the three Hokuriku prefectures including Toyama and Fukui. Finally, I will miss the view from the Ninety-Nine Bay coast.
Meet at the site of the former railway "Kujukuwan Station"
The time is 14:30. It's time to be aware of the airport. On the outward journey, we also use the "Furusato Taxi". When you make a reservation the day before, tell them that it is the last flight to Haneda and the departure location, and they will tell you the right meeting time and place.
At 15:20, the meeting place is a vacant lot in front of the old station building of the former "Kujukuwan Station". I missed the bus yesterday, so I arrived at the meeting point 30 minutes early. There is a large space between the main road and the old station building, where you will wait for your taxi.
Back to my hometown taxi
At 15:20, the hometown taxi arrived. Tell them your name and get on board. I thought the driver this time was silent, but before I knew it, I fell asleep. We arrived at Noto Airport in about 30 minutes. The fare is 1,300 yen from Kujuku Bay to the airport. A regular taxi costs 12,790 yen (Navi Time). There are other routes where you can get off at the airport by connecting a route bus and a limited express bus, but airport users think that "Noto Furusato Taxi" is the best.
When I got off, the driver suddenly asked, "Did you catch anything?" With the car door open, I bragged about my catch for about a minute. Anglers are always happy to be asked about their catch on the day they catch it. At the end, he asked, "What happened to the fish?" and when I replied, "I released them all," he said, "I can't take them home," which made us both smile.
When I got on the bus, I felt that the driver was silent, but when I thought about it, I fell asleep as soon as I got in the taxi. A passenger who boarded the train looking tired and actually fell asleep. Finally, it was good to talk about the catch.
Surprisingly good restaurant on the second floor of the airport
After checking in your luggage, you'll explore the airport. There is a tourist information center, and it is as splendid as a showroom in the city. It seems that you can collect information on the entire Noto Peninsula.
Let's check the restaurant "Annon" on the 2nd floor. The showcase is lined with attractive menu samples. I have never been in the store, but I have heard rumors about its ability.
What caught my attention was the "Sake Kasu Udon (1,000 yen)". A collaboration between sake lees soup and udon. What does it taste like? In the upper right corner, the name "Adult Lunch (2,500 yen)" is displayed. On the platter there are cutlets and Neapolitans, hamburger steak and fried shrimp. In addition, karaage and curry rice are also on it. I would like to ask for one more voice, fried squid. Next to it is casually "Noto beef curry (1,500 yen)". Before eating it myself, I would recommend it to others.
Finally, I left Noto on an ANA flight departing at 16:50 while being pulled back by the Noto Airport restaurant. “Thank you, NOTO”
Postscript (Noto Town's accommodation and rental car subsidy)
In Noto Town, tourists who use Haneda-→ Noto flights can receive subsidies for using designated accommodation facilities in the town. The amount is 2,000 yen for adults over 12 years old, and 1,000 yen for children over 3 years old and under 12 years old. There is also a subsidy of 2,000 yen for the use of rental cars. The purpose of the system was to promote the use of airports Regularity There is a similar system in municipalities other than Noto Town.
