A few years ago, I stopped by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Cafeteria on my way home from renewing my driver's license, which was the impetus for the creation of the "National Guide to Local Government Office Cafeterias." We had a delicious meal in a spacious space. Lunch in the business district is crowded and expensive. There are many people who make do with convenience stores and standing soba noodles.
On the other hand, the employees of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government have a happy lunch time ♪ at a splendid cafeteria operated by ♪ public funds. Since then, I have occasionally visited government cafeterias on business trips and trips to rural areas. The local government cafeterias were quite different from the luxury of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, but there were some cafeterias that I would have liked to use if I was close by.
The government cafeteria can be used by anyone except staff, but it is not well known due to a lack of publicity. Therefore, while being nosy, I produced a nationwide guide instead of the public relations department of the government office. I hope that this guide will increase the number of travelers and business travelers who stop by the government office cafeteria.
