In the basement lounge of the Saga Prefectural Government "SAGA CHIKA", there is a CAFE BASE that has been reborn from the staff cafeteria. The interior is made of cedar from Saga Prefecture, and partitions, high counters, long benches, etc. are arranged, and the space with about 130 seats has a sense of openness. The menu focuses on prefectural ingredients, but uses pesticide-free and pesticide-reduced vegetables and rice, and provides health-conscious meals. There is also an extensive café menu with cakes and baked goods, organic coffee and seasonal drinks. Events such as coffee seminars and miso making workshops are held.
